The Liquid Cooling Project:

Students from the S.W.W.C. Computer Servicing II class are required to design an independent study project. The current project is liquid cooling a computer. The students designed two systems to reduce the temperature of the CPU. As an integrated project the major components were machined by students in the S.W.W.C. Machine Tool class. Below are photos of the project.

More Liquid cooling pictures, the 2005-06 class decided to use dry ice to lower the temperature of their computer.

The custom heat sink (Designed and shown by Justin Humphres and Alex Wisely) was built by the S.W.W.C Machine Tool class. The plans were created using AutoCad 2000 and sent to the machine tool lab for fabricating.
